#mawarianz takes Krabi and Hatyai

Have you read previous post on how #mawarianz met?

So, as to fulfill my promise to you which is to share #mawarianz first experience in Krabi and Hatyai, here it is! Enjoy reading..

SAWADDIKA..

I don’t want to ‘bebel’ so long, below is our itinerary to Krabi + Hatyai for 4D 3N.

01^st May 2015:

05.30 AM : From Seberang Jaya, Penang to Thailand we go!

We took van from Seberang Jaya. (took a package from travel agent in Komtar)

06.30 AM : Stopped at R&R Gurun for Subuh Prayer.

08.00 AM : Arrive Durian Burung . Durian? Burung?? Durian or Burung?

Durian Burung is a small border town of Kedah state, Malaysia. Near the border is Ban Prakop of Songkhla, Thailand. This border crossing is the second border crossing from Kedah state to Songkhla province. The first border is located at Bukit Kayu Hitam at the Malaysian side and Sadao town at the other side (source: Wikipedia). It is a quite latest entrance (in 2015) for Malaysia-Thailand. Best alternative to avoid congested at Bukit Kayu Hitam when in peak season or public holiday.

What are we doing here? To check your passport lor..We really thought that we are going to Thailand by Bukit Kayu Hitam. All of us were panic when we saw the van driver took the road which is not going to Bukit Kayu Hitam. MORE NERVOUS when we asked the taxi driver, he answered in Thai language. T_T … (kap..kap..kap…)

10. 00 AM : First stop was Hatyai (to change van because we need to downgrade our VIP van to common van in order to go to Krabi. So sad..). We had lunch at one of the Muslim restaurant nearby while waiting the van to Krabi.

12.30 PM: Depart to Krabi

06.00 PM : Finally we arrived Ao Nang, Krabi.. Check In Ao Nang Smile Hotel, Krabi

08.00 PM : Dinner and look for Island Hoping package. Main objective was to go to Phi Phi Island. Due to peak season, all packages to Phi Phi Island were fully booked. So we took 4 Island package.

(Railey Island, Poda Island, Chicken Island and Tup Island)

02^nd May 2015:

08.00 AM : Breakfast @ Hotel and ready for Island Hoping

09.00 AM – 04.00 PM : Island Hoping activity

Once we arrive the first island for snorkeling, Agent #mawarianz Wawa was the first person to go into the sea, then Agent #mawarianz Sue (me). Not even one minute into the water we both go up into the boat again. Why? We were panic weh! First time snorkeling! Ok water confident session started when Agen #mawarianz Pai turns come. She went into the water looking sooooo confident and I really thought she can swim. When I’m in the water, she told me she don’t know how to swim. WHAT? WHY? You look so confident..HAHAHA

Come to this special person Agent #mawarianz Faten. She was the last person who went into the water because she’s not so confident (read afraid) of water.. hehe..SORRY Faten! And she also had to take Novomin pill to avoid sea sickness.. Homaigad! However , she manage to get into the water after that. Horey for Faten! (clap)

04.00 PM : Lunch (at 4.00PM?) who cares what time you take your lunch if you already had so much fun snorkeling and island hoping?

07.00 PM : Krabi Night Market. (15-20 Minutes from Ao Nang Smile Hotel by Tuk Tuk)

10.00 PM : Back to hotel. Two of #mawarianz went for Thai massage after the long day. (why not?)

03^rd May 2015:

08.00 AM : Breakfast, last shopping in Ao Nang, check out from hotel to go to Hatyai.

More places can be discovered when you’re in Krabi. For example, Emerald Pool,etc.

We don’t have much time to go to all places due to time constraint. InsyaAllah next time we could have our reunion in Krabi and cover all places … :D

04.00 PM : check in hotel Hi Season, Hatyai.

From Krabi to Hatyai #mawarianz had to share van with other passengers from Malaysia and local people. One thing that all travelers afraid while traveling is get involve in an accident. We never expect we could involve in an accident while in Thailand. On the highway, there was another accident in front and all cars were not moving. Our van driver couldn’t brake on time so he hit the car in front. To my surprise our driver and the car owner settle the thing very peacefully. No argument, no cursing, and not blaming each other and no steering lock! (I’m being skeptical here).. They just smiling, saying kap..kap..kap.. (again) and settled! Alhamdulillah all of us were ok.. just a bit shocked.

05.00 PM – night : Hatyai Floating Market (by tuk tuk again)

04^th May 2015 (our last day..sob..sob)

08.00 AM : check out and breakfast with local hatyai dish, which is nasi kuning (yellow rice)

09.00 AM : Elephant trekking in Hatyai. Here Agent #mawarianz Pai bought bananas to feed the elephants. “Very thoughtful of you Pai! “ says the elephants.
